An adventure is an exciting experience. Sometimes, people risk their lives to achieve something in life. But many times people get stuck in a crazy situation unknowingly. Here are some of the films which were inspired by the youth adventurous novels. Although there are many adventurous films, among them these five are most breathtaking movies I ever saw. I hope you enjoy them.

5. Armageddon (1998):

It is a science fiction, adventurous disaster film. NASA discovers an asteroid will collide with Earth in 18 days after the massive meteor shower which destroys the Space Shuttle Atlantis. In order to save the Earth, NASA plans to launch two space shuttles ‘Freedom’ and ‘Independence’. Independence shuttle crash-lands on the asteroid due to its engine failures. How do they manage to destroy the asteroid which is heading towards the Earth is the best part. It was one of the high grossing movies of that year.
4. Journey to the center of the Earth (2008):

It is an adventurous film inspired by the novel written by Jules Verne. The young boy named Sean goes in search of his father with the help of his Uncle Trevor who is a volcanologist. Along with them, Hanna helps them. The story revolves around how these three get stuck in a deep abandoned mine which is beneath the mountain. But they end up in a mysterious lost world where they come across rare and extinct species on the Earth. The story continues how they manage to get out of the place. It is also the first digital 3D feature film. The second part ‘Journey to the Mysterious Island’ is also an adventurous film inspired by a novel written by the same person where they end up finding ‘Atlantis: The Lost City’.
3. Jumanji (1995):

It is an American fantasy adventure film. It is an adaption from 1981 children’s book of the same name written by Chris Van Allsburg. The story revolves around a young boy Alan and a girl Sarah playing a board game. Unfortunately, the boy gets stuck in the board game back in 1969. 26 years later when Judy and Peter move in the same house as Alan. They find out the same board game and begin playing which turns out to release the adult Alan. The entire forest comes alive. To end this game the destruction caused should be reversed. It is one of the best films for the children. Similar to this film, ‘A Space Adventure: Zathura’ was released and was also adapted from the same book.
2. Life of Pi (2012):

It is based on the novel of the same name ‘Life of Pi’ written by Yann Martel. The story revolves around a young boy named Pi Patel who gets stuck in the Pacific Ocean in a small lifeboat with a spotted Hyena, Grant's Zebra, Orang-utan and a Bengal Tiger named Richard Parker. The story further continues how the boy encounters the difficulties with Richard Parker during the Storm. Being vegetarian, he has to eat fishes for his survival. And how he manages to tell his tale for the people who came to investigate. Whether the people agree with his tale or not is a twisting part. It is one of the best fantasy adventure novels.
1. Armour of God (1986):

It is a Hong Kong action comedy and an adventurous film starring Jackie Chan. He is a Treasure Hunter aka ‘Asian Condor’. He should find all the armors which mysteriously discovered. They end up on a remote island where they find the treasure and a log of gold which is hidden within the wood. Meantime, the log gets drowned in the sea along with the gold. He and his team members try finding the other treasure heads and how do they return the treasure to the Government is an interesting part.
