SRK makes dubsmash debut to celebrate 13 years of ‘Devdas’

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan made a dubsmash video to pay tribute to Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed “Devdas”, which completed 13 years on Sunday.
The 49-year-old “Chennai Express” star, who played the titular role of a lovelorn alcoholic in the 2002 romantic-drama, uploaded a video mouthing his famous monologue, “babuji ne kahaa gaon chhod do, sabne kahaa paro ko chhod do...”
“Saved by the candle... it’s kinda strange to do me by me...” the actor tweeted.

Shah Rukh also thanked his co-star Jackie Shroff.
“And a special thanks to my favourite Jaggu Dada... ‘Hum la ilaaj ho gaye Chunni Babu.’”
The actors won several awards for the movie that year. “Devdas” was also screened at Cannes Film Festival that year, although the movie wasn’t competing.
