Ryan Reynolds Hilariously Trolled Blake Lively And 'The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants'

For the past year or so, we've been closely following the innocent rivalry between Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. We've seen everything from birthday message slights to Valentine's Day gags, and we've been keeping score the whole time. 

Up until now, the couple appeared to be neck and neck, but Ryan's latest joke may have landed him in the top spot.

First of all, any girl who was watching movies in 2005 should be familiar with The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

It was an all-girl dramedy starring Blake Lively, Alexis Bledel, America Ferrera, and Amber Tamblyn.

The film was about love, friendship, and magic jeans. It had everything a 15-year-old girl could ever want in a movie.

It was also Blake Lively's first major role as an actress.

Now, just about everyone is familiar with Deadpool.

Ryan Reynolds plays a snarky anti-hero whose primary objective is to make fun of everyone and everything.

Oh, and getting revenge on the people who turned him into Deadpool is a close second.

And no one is safe from Deadpool's commentary — not even Blake Lively.

Even when Ryan's in the middle of playing a character, he doesn't put roasting his wife on pause.

In the trailer for Deadpool 2, Deadpool (aka Ryan) tosses some lowkey shade at Blake. 

"Doing the right thing is messy, but if you wanna fight for what’s right, sometimes you have to fight dirty," he begins.

"And that is why The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is pure pornography," says Deadpool.

Yes. He really did just say that the purest of pure movies is essentially emotion porn.

Ryan's now shading his wife through the characters he plays on the big screen. How meta.

Of course, it's not like Blake hasn't tossed jabs at Ryan before.

Remember when she wished her husband a happy birthday by posting a photo that cropped out 75% of his body...but featured 100% of dreamy Ryan Gosling?

Ahhh, good times.

Or when Blake joked about being a former user of Ashley Madison, a dating site for married people.

"Ever since Ashley Madison closed I've been so lonely," wrote Blake on one of Ryan's Instagram posts.

Despite being trolled, Ryan still puts effort into his relationship with Blake.

Take this Valentine's Day cake, for example, that Ryan made for Blake. Sweet, right?

Well, actually, it would have been sweet had it not been for this photo's caption.

"I baked this cake for my wife. The icing is glue, ‘cause I’m not a scientist," wrote Ryan.

Well, uh, at least most craft glue is non-toxic. 

Actually, if Ryan did use glue for the icing, that sounds a lot like a science experiment.

But Ryan's latest gag is definitely his best to date.

He's moved on from Insta-trolling to taking playful jabs at his wife on the big screen.

He's definitely ratcheting up the game.

Now it's your move, Blake.

Come on, girl. It's time to start thinking about revenge.

You can't just let Ryan disrespect the Sisterhood and get away with it! He's gotta pay!
