The World Is Responding After Group Of Men Stop In Car To Bully This Woman

Anyone struggling with weight loss knows that it can be a long hard battle. Getting to your goal weight can take months or even years and no one deserves to be humiliated during this process.

One young woman from Springfield, Illinois, Shauna Arocho, ran into a horrible group of bullies who took time out of their day to humiliate her while she enjoyed a snack out with her husband. You have to hear Shauna's story and what she decided to say in a viral Facebook video.

Meet 27-year-old Shauna Arocho, who recently posted a video to Facebook that has been viewed by more than 10 million people and has amassed over 9,000 comments.

The video concerns an incident that happened to her when she was enjoying some ice cream at Dairy Queen on their patio.

What happened next left Shauna in tears and motivated her to make the powerful video describing what had happened.

In her Facebook post she starts off by saying, "I don't usually do this kind of thing, but I feel that it's very important. I'm a 27-year-old woman, and I get bullied very regularly."

Shauna starts the video describing how she has been working on her weight, and has made considerable progress.

"I've been eating mostly Paleo since June of last year. I've lost like 60 pounds since starting and 120 pounds overall. It's really hard sometimes, you know. Giving up sweets, giving up all this kinda stuff that you just love to eat but it's so bad for you. I have a long way to go in my weight loss journey but I've been encouraged by losing over 40 pounds just this year..."

"So I decided to treat myself with a free ice cream cone..." saidShauna.

"As I'm sitting out there enjoying my ice cream cone, a car full of men stop in the middle of a busy road just so they can roll down their window and say 'eat that ice cream you fat $%@%.'"

As upsetting as this message was to Shauna, she didn't pity herself, rather, she had a strong message for her bullies.

"I just don't understand what people get out of tearing other people down," she said.

"You know nothing about my life or my circumstances. What if I had been in such a place that you saying that to me made me go home and kill myself?" she said. "I'm not in that place, but I could have been," Shauna added.

After posting this video, Shauna has received an enormous amount of support online.

It's amazing how thoughtful and considerate people are to complete strangers online!

The overwhelming majority of these supporters went out of their way to tell Shauna how beautiful she truly is and that those men have something wrong with them – not her.

Shauna was overwhelmed by the enormous amount of support she received online and posted this message.

"My faith in humanity has never been higher than it is right now. Yesterday my eyes were full [of] tears from sadness. Today, the tears are happy ones," she wrote.
