A 12-year-old girl has recorded a higher IQ score than Albert Einstein.
British schoolgirl Lydia Sebastian, who’s of Indian descent, scored a maximum 162 in the 150-minute Cattell III B mental ability test by Mensa. Einstein and Stephen Hawking are believed to have scores of 160.
The violinist has read all seven Harry Potter books three times, according to The Daily Mail.
“At first, I was really nervous but once I started, it was much easier than I expected it to be and then I relaxed,” she said, “I gave it my best shot.”
Lydia is the daughter of a 43-year-old radiologist and an associate director at Barclays bank. Both of whom are originally from Kerala in southern India.
According to The Daily Mail, her parents only allowed her to take the test because she had ‘nagged’ them about it for a year.
