BOX-OFFICE: PULI'S MUCH-AWAITED OPENING DAY FIGURE IN TAMILNADU
The Ilayathalapathy Vijay starrer Puli had its grand worldwide release yesterday, October 1, after a minor hiccup which saw its morning special shows and overseas premiere shows being cancelled. It was a grand solo release in maximum number of screens.
The film has reportedly grossed close to 10.75 crores in Tamil Nadu on Day 1. It isn't tax free though. It must be noted that had the special shows happened as planned, this gross figure could have swelled even more. The solo release has proved to be advantageous indeed.
