We’ve learned A LOT about the Money Heist season 5 release date in recent months, including when the streaming network confirmed Money Heist season 5 would be released on Netflix in the second half of 2021 in a letter to shareholders.

And now, we’ve officially got the release date for the next season, including both parts! Netflix confirmed on Twitter today that Money Heist season 5 would begin this fall, with volume 1 debuting on September 3, 2021, and volume 2 coming out December 3, 2021. That’s so soon! We previously speculated the show could come out around September, thanks to reports from Express and Small Screen. We were also kept in the loop, thanks to Alvaro Morte, when production on Money Heist season 5  wrapped.

Money Heist season 5 cast

Netflix has confirmed some of the cast of Money Heist season 5!  Úrsula Corberó as Tokio and Álvaro Morte as El Profesor are back for the new season.

Itziar Ituño, Miguel Herrán, Jaime Lorente, Esther Acebo, Darko Peric, and Enrique Arce have also returned for season 5.

Alba Flores’s character, Nairobi, dying was an impactful moment within the international series, and according to her comments in Money Heist: The Phenomenon, which is available now on Netflix, her Money Heist days are done.

Money Heist season 5 has cast Sense8 star Miguel Ángel Silvestre and Patrick Criado.

Fans can also expect to see some new faces entering the mix, and it will be interesting to see where our favorite characters end up.

Money Heist season 5 plot synopsis

Netflix has released no official synopsis for Money Heist season 5. And fans shouldn’t expect to see any type of description on what sets to go down in the next outing anytime soon as it usually happens around the release date.

Despite not having anything official to go on, savvy fans have a good idea of where the story will take subscribers in season 5.

The thrilling conclusion to the fourth season of the hit International Netflix series left a lot of loose threads that a new chapter could explore. Lisbon and the other’s chances of escape from the bank seem unlikely now that Inspector Sierra has cornered the Professor.

Sergio will have to outsmart Sierra somehow and Lisbon will have to melt that gold down as fast as possible. Whatever does happen, fans will not want to miss a second of the action if Money Heist season 5 ever goes down.
