Kim K Dishes On Kanye And Celeb Status With Alec Baldwin
It's clear her priorities have shifted from fame to family, and we love that for her!
We all know our girl Kim Kardashian-West is never one to shy away from the spotlight, and the interview she gave with Alec Baldwin last night was proved to be pure Kimmy K realness.
Alec's new show, aptly titled The Alec Baldwin Show, has only aired its second episode, but it's clear his presence has already has made quite a splash.
Kim sat down with Alec to discuss her personal and professional life during the 40-minute interview.
It's been nearly two years since Kim was robbed in Paris back in October 2016. In the interview, she thinks back on how the traumatic event changed her life.
"My life has definitely changed a lot in the last two years from that experience...for a good year I almost lost myself."
She goes on to credit husband Kanye West for helping her learn how to separate her public and private life.
"Where can I go on vacation where nobody will see us?"
Kim used to always hit the hottest nightclubs and restaurants in Hollywood, but now? She just wants privacy.
"All I want is privacy. I never thought that I would be at that point."
Kim also dishes on the compromises she had to make in order to make her marriage work.
“I’ve always been so independent and working, and [had a] schedule, and when you get married and have a husband that has their career and then have kids, your independence…you have to let it go.
When asked about Kanye's controversial opinions, Kim said she just lets her man be.
“I let [Kanye] be who he wants to be. I let him have his own views and opinions, even if they’re different than mine,” she added in the interview.
And in response to fans questioning her on why she stands by her man during his more controversial times, Kim believes it's all about having an open mind.
“I think it’s just having an open mind. I love to let my husband be who he is.”
Kim goes on to talk about growing up in a house with parents who had differing worldviews and how it made her open to having important conversations:
“We would just always talk about it and be really open about it. It was always okay to have different views.”
"I don't necessarily have to believe all my husband's opinions to support him. He's entitled to what he [believes and] he's very passionate."
Its clear the kind of love and support Kim and Kanye share for each other is #Goals.
And AS A SIDENOTE, in my humble (but very accurate) opinion, Kimmy looked absolutely STUNNING during the sit-down. Your fav could literally never!

Many fans thought Kim handled her interview flawlessly and sounded like...SUPER smart while doing it!
Kim truly showed poise and class when discussing tough family issues while allowing herself to be vulnerable.
The Kardashian stans truly saw their queen at werq, proving she is a woman of both brains and beauty.
It's no surprise to true fans who know Kim has been rocking the media circuit promoting KUWTK for 16 bloody seasons!
However, some fans had a few criticisms of the long and sometimes awkward interview...
Alec Baldwin has only interviewed two guests so far, but some felt the episode left much to be desired...
Some felt Alec wasn't excelling in this new role as interviewer, as opposed to his usual role of interviewee.
The chair placement did feel rather unnecessarily intimate, to be honest, lol.
Other fans of Alec felt he didn't put much pressure on Kim and seemed like too much of a fan to conduct an unbiased interview.
To be fair, she's a QUEEN. How can anyone keep their cool around her?!
As far as the criticism goes, Kim knows it's part of the job she signed up for.
With that being said, she says she would never wish for her fame to go away. In fact, she's the one who convinced her family to star with her in KUWTK 11 years ago!
And regardless of anyone's feelings about the Kardashian-West fam, no one can deny Kim and Kanye put their kids first.
