Channing Tatum's New GF Looks Suspiciously Like His Ex

It seems strange to be talking about Channing Tatum being in a new relationship. Ever since Tatum and Jenna Dewan met on the set of Step Up, they've been something of a fixture in our fantasy world of celebrity couples we figured would be together forever.

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan met and started dating in 2006, and married a few years later in 2009.

In 2013, they welcomed a daughter, Everly, into the world, adding another part to the Tatum family.

Mainstays of the red carpet, the couple seemed like everything you would want from a Hollywood fairy tale couple.

Both performers seemed to thrive on their own, but shone even brighter as a couple.

Their relationship gave us #goals that we didn't even know we had.

Until we saw Jenna Dewan give a lap dance to Channing Tatum on Lip Sync Battle, we had no idea that it was even something we needed. But now that bar has been set, and our own relationships are always going to fall short in comparison.

But, we have to admit, we can project whatever we want onto our favorite celeb couples. Our wishes can't force the fairy tale to last forever.

In April, the couple announced their separation, and, honestly, we're still reeling.

We don't know much about what actually went down, but people certainly have their feelings about the break-up.

It certainly goes to show that what's happening on the surface doesn't necessarily reflect what's actually going on.

Maybe it's a chance to step back and think about just how much stock we put into celeb couples.

But we all know that's not really going to happen, so we'll just have to see what comes up next.

It seems that there's already stirrings of an "up next," in the form of rumors about a budding relationship between Channing Tatum and British singer Jessie J.

Us Weekly broke the news about the couple, stating that they've been seeing each other quietly for a few months now.

The singer and songwriter is known for her smash hits "Price Tag," "Domino," and "Bang Bang."

For now, a source tells Us Weekly the couple is "new, casual and they're having fun together."

There have been some rumblings for awhile, with a few sightings here and there of the two celebs together, but this is the closest we've come to a full-on confirmation.

The couple appear to be more comfortable with the idea of their relationship being out in the open these days.

According to Us Weekly, fans have also been spotting them at a mini golf course. Tatum was also seen attending one of Jessie's concerts last week.

One detail that people can't seem to get over is just how similar Jessie J and Jenna Dewan look.

It's hard to ignore the similarities, particularly with both recently sporting dark, shoulder-length hair.

It's easy to speculate about what those similarities might mean, but it could just come down to personal tastes.

Tatum's split from Dewan seemed amicable, and like it was what was best for the both of them, so we'll just have to trust that Channing is taking care of himself the best way he knows how.

Not everybody is on board for the pairing.

But, really, what we think doesn't matter much. There's clearly a connection bringing the two together.

You can't help but wonder what Jenna Dewan thinks about the new pairing.

Dewan has been positive in the past when talking about the split.

"It's okay for a relationship to change into a new form that is actually better for both people involved, and I think that's maybe what shocked everyone so much—that it can be a positive thing," she told Women's Health.

And, we seem to have our answer.

E! News is reporting that Dewan is aware of the relationship and is "doesn't really care what Channing does as long as he's being there for [their daughter]." She's also reportedly been dating as well, so everybody seems to be moving forward.
