Baba Ramdev : Want to perform yoga in Pakistan, everyone isn't a terrorist there:

Amid tension on Indo-Pak borderyoga guru Baba Ramdev, who was in the city on Saturday to take stock of the situation of International Yoga Day Celebration scheduled to take place on June 21, said that he wanted to go to Pakistant perform yoga. He even claimed that he had got an invitation from Pakistan to hold a yoga event.

"I have got an invitation from Pakistan to perform yoga there. Everyone in Pakistan is not a terrorist. People in the neighbouring country also want to learn yoga. But I have a concern that there is an atmosphere of political instability in Pakistan at present. Nevertheless I want to go to Pakistan," Ramdev said. The four-day long yoga event will begin from Sunday.

"Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) should be merged with India now. It is the high time for the Indian government to think upon it and do whatever it can do to merge the PoK with Kashmir," he said. Ramdev also said that the Indian government should take adequate steps to eliminate 1993 Mumbai blast mastermind Dawood Ibrahim, Jaish-E-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar and Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed.

"The common people of Pakistan are not bad, only few persons are spreading terrorism," he said.

When asked how Masood could be brought back now when the NDA government had released him in 2000, Ramdev dodged the question and said, "This is a thing of the past. We should not waste our time thinking about the past."

Ramdev defended the action of demonetization and termed it as a strong action against black money. He added that Swiss Bank has shown preparedness to declare information on black money due to efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

When asked that the fake currency menace was still on in insurgency prone areas in the country, he said, "This is a continuous process, and the government is alert for it. There is no policy paralysis in this government."

He said that yoga is a part of Indian culture due to which it cannot be criticized. "There are certain elements of the country's culture which can't be criticized," he said.Ramdev also said that it was Prime Minister Indira Gandhi who began Yoga as a public event through Acharya Dhirendra. Later, Modi introduced Yoga to large masses. Ramdev also announced to start 'Patanjali yoga and Wellness Spiritual Centre' across the world.
