Akhil Telugu Movie Review

Director: VV Vinayak
Producer: Nithin
Music Director: Anoop Rubens and SS Thaman

Starring – Akhil, Sayesha Saigal, Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore, Rajendra Prasad

Story:
Akhil(Akhil) lives in Hyderabad and falls in love at first sight with a Medico Divya(Sayesha Saigal). He heads to Spain to win her love. Divya is kidnapped in Spain.
The movie revolves around Power of Jua, that is Power of Sun in African language. A protective shield has been discovered by the ancestors to protect earth from destruction. This is hidden in a place called Kangolia close to the equator and Ojha is made responsible for its protection. Russian general Katrochi who eyes on this shield, tries to steal and gain a control over the world.
Now why is Divya kidnapped? Is there a relation behind this kidnap and the shield. Will Katrochi succeed in stealing the shield. Watch the movie and find out.
Postive Points:
Akhil has performed extremely well and his acting skills deserve applause. His dance moves and action sequences are perfect. He dominated Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya in dance moves. Sayesha on the other hand proved a complete glamorous material. She was beautiful in every screen and the chemistry between the lead couple was good. Rajendra Prasad and Mahesh Manjarekar did their best. Vennela Kishore and Brahmanandam’s comedy needs mention.
Nagarjuna’s presence in the song was a highlight.
Negative Points:
The movie had huge expectations. While the whole story was revolving around The Power of Jua, it was dominated by the love story between the lead couple which wasn’t that important in an interesting plot. The second half was slow and looks like VV Vinayak has lost track in between the plot.
