After Watching This 6 Second Video, You'll Never Want To Smoke Again
If the countless years of research illustrating the alarming effects of smoking cigarettes isn't enough for you, perhaps this 6 second video will finally convince you to give up the habit. If a picture is worth a thousand words, this video is worth a million.
In the video, scientists in a lab pumped air into two sets of human lungs. One was a healthy set of lungs from a non-smoker and the other, a hideously shriveled and deformed set from a heavy smoker. While both demonstrations are gross in a, "hey we're playing around with human innards" way, the healthy lungs are certainly less offensive looking. The putrescent blackened smoker's lungs look more like they were ripped from one of Tolkien's orcs than from a human being.
